If you have anything to say or sell in the modern world, you're going to have to find a way to say it or sell it on the internet. I love writing clean code and working as part of a great team, and I bring a wealth of experience and different backgrounds to any project. I've been a United States Marine (oorah!), a stand-up comedian, a strength and conditioning trainer, a dating coach, a photographer, and a VFX artist. My multidisciplinary background means you're not just benefitting from my keen eye for detail or my Spartan work ethic, but from my years of diverse experiences.
Together, we'll take your project to the next level. Because merely having a presence on the internet isn't enough. Every page on every site risks adding more noise that customers and users just ignore. That can either be inspiring or intimidating, and I choose the former. There's nothing more exciting than making a site people WANT to use.
And I LOVE making beautiful things that work even better than you thought they would. Whether you want to cut to the chase with a simple and direct site, or whether you want to release the aesthetic kraken and explore the web as an infinite canvas where anything is possible, my knowledge as an engineer and experience as an artist will guarantee something that suits your needs and your vision.

Working in front-end and back-end tools, I have worked with clients to provide needs from SEO optimization tools to virtual conferencing sites to help companies communicate during the global pandemic.
May 2008 - Present
I have worked as a compositor, editor, and motion graphics artist on shows, commercials, and films such these selections:
March 2012 - June 2016
I worked with several hundred clients on fitness goals ranging from improving their jumpshot to losing weight to breaking a 400lb bench press.
During my tenure as a trainer, I was selected as the lead strength and conditioning coach for female FDNY firefighter candidates. Under my programming and supervision, we lifted the number of serving female firefighters in the FDNY from 36 to a then historical high of 48.
June 2006 - September 2012
I burned a gajillion calories trying to make it as a stand-up comedian. Given this is a site about how I'm a web developer, you can get a sense of how that went. While my hilarious Netflix special is on indefinite hiatus, I picked up vital public performance skills by performing in front of crowds as large as 500 people, only most of whom were drunk.
September 2005 - September 2015
I coached approximately 3000 students (90% male, 10% female) in major cities on four contintents. I developed, taught, and demonstrated techniques to build confidence when meeting new people in unfamiliar environments. I pioneered our company's curricula on strategies for carrying on dating relationships over text, meeting people in daytime environments, and navigating the space between initial courtship to serious relationships. In this position I routinely managed a team of 3-5 fellow instructors.
November 2000 - August 2004
I started on help desk before moving into network operations. From there I was placed into information security, where I oversaw 70,000 network nodes at Marine Forces Atlantic, which included the Middle East during a wartime posture.
November 2018 - February 2019
Curriculum included Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, and a heavy emphasis on using all of them to build MVC apps with CRUD functionality.
September 2004 - May 2008
While at Tisch, I spent countless weekend and many weeknights on student or professional film sets or hunched over a computer chopping up footage. The degree program at Tisch included the following:
